a little busy recently. with what?

stocks are in, in volumesss , ready to go all out till the end of raya.. attractive prices we believe, for double dins ( branded one's of course ) , alpine speakers and nakamichi component sets

after sourcing high and low, we managed to get in what we believe would be the really last batch of the hot selling type j coaxial , * new model is out * at a slightly higher price..

we do not want to compare our self with others out there, cause we believe each and everyone have their own stuff they are good in, and we never once position our self as an audio specialist . but entry level type :)

and those who have bought the alpine type j coaxial, we believe would agree that for the price range of 2xx.. its one of the best choice :)





anyway , just a quick update.. gotta prepare the price list of the coming soon raya sale

so we were talking about MBQ under seat active sub

what do we think about it?

from a business point of view, no doubt MBQ would be the best choice to sell due to market demand, we were never once a fan of this particular brand of active sub , but we often have customer requesting us to bring it in ( those who have been actively following our fb ) would have know that we sold off few sets of it last month.

We really wonder why so many people are into this brand.. famous perhaps?

Of course, there are famous brand too producing active sub, not mentioning the higher range price from Pioneer , we even have Steelmate, which in our opinion is by far one of the best active sub ( slightly ex only, not too much ) but the only setback would be Steelmate doesn't comes with remote.

In short, what we feel about MBQ? The pro's of it would be because it comes with a cute looking remote to adjust the power of bass, mid power bass , not too strong nor too weak .

our rating for value for money? we would give it a 7 / 10 if one is paying around Rm 4xx for it :)

And recent "poison" as you guys called it would be the all new OEM Toyota headunit from Kenwood . would blog about it in detail in hopefully ASAP :)

but one thing is for sure, this is definitely a hot selling model with very limited units in the market , even we ourselves is having a hard time to get a unit from our supplier...

and some supplier is even taking this opportunity to increase the price of this headunit.

and we say oem plug and play, means no cutting of wires, steering control can use back.. and the size fits all Toyota car perfectly

Ooops, sorry for the long delay on the update, was suppose to update about what we think about the much sought after MBQ under seat active sub ..

But pardon us, as we are a little busy these days, preparing for our CHINA trip starting next Monday ( 9th ) till Friday ( 13th )

Just a short update on what is here, other than the hot selling oem Toyota double din from Toyota

this is what arrived today :)

as stated in the box, made in New Zealand and guess what?

they really have faith in their product, giving it a 5 years warranty over there, but of course we wont be having the same 5 years warranty over here :)

yup, the led inside is slightly angled @ 15 degree, suitable especially for those that complain about their car being slightly 'senget' for the place they fit their drl :)

would update the color output of this drl some other day , when we are in China :)

ok, enough of formal talk, lets get a little more casual here..

not sure if proxy or hidemyass would be able to allow us to log in our facebook account while we are over at Guangzhou , China. cause as we all know, facebook is banned in the country cause they have their own social networking site.

anyone of you manage to log in before? mind sharing how? much appreciated

MVH 1450 UB from Pioneer

Just a quick update to make this blog not so 'dead' . This entry level head unit is really quite a hit among those who want something that can support USB & their Iphone.

Where else can we get a branded head unit with such function for only slightly above MYR 200 :)

Smart looking too, not forgetting this model even comes with remote and 1 year warranty from Pioneer Malaysia.

All new MVH-1450 UB from Pioneer

would be getting this installed on another Myvi soon :)

* Sony do have this kind of head unit too, but not sure about the Ipod support

Pros : superb value, if one is only looking for a USB & Iphone supported with 1 year warranty

Cons : Can't put cd.

Value : 9/10 ( where else can we get such product, with remote, rca output, 1 year warranty , and detachable faceplate )

Philips ? PIAA?

In our earlier post we did mention that this post would be about some minor ligthings that we have done on a Myvi this week.

So here it is..

Another return customer that came to get his headlight bulb change to Philips Crystal Vision , the color output not that accurate due to the fact that picture was taken in the noon, but those from our fb can definitely find a night view picture of it in our album....

Comparing the headlamp with the stock yellow light, than we could see the difference

A not so whitish color output, which in our opinion would not get yourself in trouble with the law enforcement, but again, in our country, "you know why" , anything is possible to happen..

Second Myvi 

A Myvi lagi best owner that came to get both the headlamp and fog light changed to Philips Diamond Vision 5000 k

Total cost? A whopping Rm 5xx just for 2 sets of bulb.

But of course we are talking about quality products, so one should not compare this with typical china made HID which cost only Rm1xx per set :)

Really like the color output for both Crystal Vision and Diamond vision.

So the most frequently asked question would be. What's the difference?

* The main difference other than price would be, Crystal Vision would be more yellowish white, which produces a more oem like output 4300k, comparing to Diamond Vision which produces a more blue-ish white output


even tested how a Philips 4 daytime running light would look on a Myvi Lagi Best

how it looks like, without the lights on, can see the crystal surface

People always complain that drl these days doesn't last long, isn't bright, isn't water resistant..

But the fact is that we do have quality daytime running light , with 1 year warranty , the question is, how many of us are willing to spend a few hundred just for a daylight?

* expecting owner to come back next month to get this installed..


Third myvi

perhaps one of the most noticeable trend in the market these days.. using the yellowish gold as the foglight bulb

using Wurth brand from Germany

not a cheap product, but yet when we quoted customer RM 1xx , even we ourself feels that it is a little overprice. not because it isn't good, perhaps its because of the 2 cheapo packing they use for each bulb

without any proper fully packed and label packing..

that's the reason why we say in our earlier post, everything is about Marketing and Packaging. As cruel as it might sound, perhaps this is the reality we have today :)

ilwe think that this PIAA brand needs no further introduction to all you car enthusiast out there? still trying our best to make it available at our place.. do keep yourself updated with our fb for more update..

it's no easy task getting the rights to sell this brand, require lots of work, commitment , and not mentioning cash = sales ... But we would definitely try our best to get it available...

Oops, have been a little busy recently, did not manage to update our blog.

( it is only till when we asked him is he a forum-er only did he realise that this is the shop he have been searching for XD )

So what have we been doing today?

other than that was a few Myvi's doing some minor lightings. Might be minor , but the bill isnt' small amount as products of Philips were used. would upload a whole post of it tomorrow not to mix things up

Anyway also manage to convince a walk in customer who came looking for CHEAP TWEETERS , thats what he ask for when he first step in

But at the end?

He changed his car plate first , than add drl , and only we told him frankly, don't waste money on cheap tweeters as it would not sound any better.. considering the ride of a saga blm with no front speakers..

Ended up going for a very very very budget 2 way coaxial.. at least it's better than those tweeters

productive day

So they say , Monday blues.

How was your monday?

Ours?

A quiet business day, but nevertheless a very productive day.

Why?

First, our demo audio set is finally here, and its half way done, would just have to wait for the new headunit to arrive and get the wiring's done..

What's so special about this new HU? would talk about it in the later part of this post

 the arrival of the rack, ready to get the speakers to fit in..

opt for this finishing instead of the glossy type due to budget constrain :(

getting the rack done with wheels. so we can boom boom pow it outside our shop?

haha, nope, just to make it higher, you know our malaysia wheather, when rain heavily, banjir happens.. sigh

would update more regarding the system we are using for our demo rack..

nope, ntg really high end, as we are catering more towards the mid end market :)

Second , rumours have it that Alpine have already discontinue the hot selling alpine type j coaxial which we have been selling all the while..

A very last minute notice we was given, so could only manage to get the last 10 sets :(

And we are still trying to get the latest update from our supplier regarding this issue

and as we can see in the picture, new model of Type J which cost slightly more

and after considering , we've decided to bring in a higher end model of coaxial for those want something slightly better than type j with the budget of 3xx

The all new Type G coaxial.. ( would find a time to update about all this new product asap )

* stress level increasing, gotta clear off some ASAP cause gotta pay supplier end of the month.. omg...

we gotta get it in volume, so that we are able to offer potential customer's the most competitive price in the market

and do take note all our alpine products are original under local distributor Wo Kee Hong

and not forgetting Pioneer hu, which we have been bringing in recently due to market demand..

Last but not least 

We are currently in the process of bringing in TEAC car audio product , not a famous brand yet here in Malaysia, but doing google about this brand would let you know that this is an audio brand from JAPAN with much company history

Just to show how much confidence we have in this brand, we are proud to say that we would be using this headunit as our audio demo set :)

Negotiation process is still going on, and hopefully we are able to bring more good news soon..

A rough idea on the prices for the speakers, it's really affordable, don't expect sounds quality like Alpine , but do expect Satisfaction you get for the price you are paying.. More details would be revealed hopefully by the end of this month

But at the mean time, potential buyers can drop by our place to check out this great HU , which supports DVD, and can even add a reverse camera for it.. saw the mini screen beside it?

And how much would this cost you ask?

Introductory price of only Rm 499 nett. no joke, you saw it rite, Rm 499 nett  with 1 year warranty.

And we want to stress again that this isn't a cap ayam brand or china brand...

an 'informal' introduction

It's been ages since this blog was created

Back than, thought of using this blog as a marketing tool , but at the end, decided to call it off due to the fact that it isn't really user friendly for potential buyers.

So? This blog was left rotten for ages..

And thought of continue blogging again, just to keep our potential customers, and also friends know what are we up too recently, no doubt, LYN and Facebook would still be our main communication method for promo's new product and etc.

Just blogging would be a more "informal" method of expressing our thoughts and perhaps some personal opinion on our products , as we can see in the older post where we would state both pro's and con's of a product and our overall review.

Those that are eagerly waiting to see what else are we bringing in can also keep yourself updated with our blog to know what's coming up..

As stated earlier, this blog was created back than when Sh@rty 5 used to be like many other's studying in college, just wanting to earn some extra income XD


Therefore as we can see in the blog header, the word VISION and the white BMW  hehe, nope , not to say that the VISION was achieve, but we always believe, it's only a matter of time..

And would really like to thank those who have supported us from the very beginning, who are we today if it wasn't the trust and support we receive from all our customers..
